Niantic Studio is know for its high quality AR games and their latest game called Harry Potter Wizards Unite is expected to reach the same number of users as Pokémon Go.
It might be difficult for the beginners to fully get into the game at first, especially for those who hs never played any Niantic game before. For this reason, we decided to write down couple tips and tricks.
Mind your data usage
It may not be so obvious at first but Wizards Unite will eat a lot of your data. While the Google Play version only has 61 MB or 180 MB, App Store version will download 3,3 GB including all assets. Before heading outside to play, make sure all assets are downloading while you are on your wifi.
Two head are better than one. While in Pokémon GO you compete with other people, in Wizards Unite everyone cooperates. After sharing the code with other player and confirming in the app you become friends. Later you can split your roles and share the rewards. The rewards are significantly higher than when you play alone
Choose your profession wisely
Professions unlock at Level 6. There are three of them and each having their own unique perks and skills: Auror, Professor and Magizoologist. Choose wisely because your profession will affect your gameplay a lot.
Learn to save your battery life
Eventhough Wizards Unite is an AR game, you will want to learn how to limit your camera usage. Number one reason is your battery which will get low real fast with the extensive use of the game. In your settings, navigate to Camera and switch off the AR+ and AR+ in Combat options. You will loose some of the functions but will save a lot of your precious battery life.
Speed over precision
If you want to keep winning don’t bother with precision, especially in the early stages of the game. The most important thing is to play fast. Once you get to know the basics, learn how to be more precise.
And two more tips from us: Try to log in everyday and complete daily challenges. And… play in different daytime, that will help you find different things.
